Website redesign
We update websites when the product, audience or interface requirements have changed, starting with the issues that matter to users and the business.
Discuss the taskDefine the reason for change
Mobile friction, confusing navigation or a new positioning can justify a redesign. Age alone does not explain the problem. We review journeys, content and available data before choosing the scope.
Decide what to preserve
- Inventory current URLs, landing pages and internal links.
- Retain useful components and content.
- Restructure sections where navigation is a barrier.
- Update visual design, mobile journeys and forms.
- Document implementation and post-launch checks.
Plan the transition
Design changes may affect metadata, analytics, editing workflows and URLs. We address these dependencies before development. Redirects, migration and SEO checks are explicitly scoped. A new appearance alone does not guarantee more enquiries.
Our process
-
Step 1
Review the website and agree the goals.
-
Step 2
Define structure and prototype key pages.
-
Step 3
Design screens, states and responsive versions.
-
Step 4
Plan implementation, migration and checks.
Cost and scope
Cost depends on templates, structural change, content, CMS and integrations. Send the current URL and problems you want to solve so we can distinguish a focused update from a rebuild.
Discuss the taskFrequently asked questions
Does a redesign require a new CMS?
Not necessarily. We assess the platform against the project requirements separately from visual changes.
Can existing search landing pages be retained?
Yes. We inventory them before design, preserve suitable URLs and content, and plan redirects for necessary changes.
